Megane TDI does not start published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello everyone.
I have a 2000 Renault Megane, Diesel Motor TDI,
yesterday I stand on the road, without more.
I could see that the injection pump valve (the one that gives way to fuel) did not reach current.
To get home that was about 500 meters, I threw a cable from the battery positive to this valve.
The car started, the only thing is that the lights of the heaters were lit all the time, when house arrived and remove the contact more or less normal, which was surprised since I had the cutting valve with direct current.
I have checked fuses, and the impact valve and nothing.
You can give me some idea, everything points to electrical failure but I don't know where to attack it, thank you very much

Hi Jperazu, for what you tell, by putting 12v. Direct already had current the pump's pale electrovalve, but that the light of the heater was turned on ... from there I think that the preheating cajin also gives current to this electrovalvula (you have to look at the scheme or follow this cable). I would check the teasted box or reluction to see if it comes current when giving the contact and if 12v reaches the spark plugs when the light is turned on or thinking that the problem is in the closure of the key (it makes a bad connection, etc.) or seek to see if it carries a general reluctance that gives the pump timer, apart from reviewing the fuses of the motor and habitaculus compartment. Go see what tell us. Greetings!!

Look if when that happened to you, the immobilizer light did not get on.
When the car is immobilized, the pump fuel valavula tension cuts

I continue with the problem, thank you very much for the comments.
I have an electrical scheme that could be that it could apply to my car, as you already know Melgane models there are many, today I tried to check the contact key, but I have not been able to continue investigating tomorrow.
Thank you very much, any suggestion will be well received.

Hello, for my criteria, your problem is the feeding to the vehicle control unit crosses that feed the pump solenoid and the ECU Many times the cables make false contact or the power set does not hit and the current does not arrive, which you say that it does not stop when you put the cable was by the electronic accelerator that carries the zipper of the pump usually closes when you take the contact. engine was different greetings
