I am helping a friend to repair his Renault 19 RT vehicle year 93 engine 1.8 F2N model ... we are in the dilemma of the distribution points since we place the piston 1 (the q is closer to the box) in PMS and the mark of the pulley pulley of the cam. With the delay or advance of the spark jump) we could not turn cables playing a little with the spark to see if we gave but nothing, the only shape was to loosen the lid and run it so that the no of the cover would agree with the rotor being the lift tree in point and we tied the distributor for test and the vehicle turns on ... if by any chance of you it has already repaired some vehicle of these and they have presented the same situation Pass that info or if in some of the manuals there is the solution ... thanks again and I will be indicating if I get to solve for the future
The cylinder one effectively in the Renault is the one that is more serca in the box, but, you have to check the crossroads with respect to the cylinder that is in compression, because the French engines the draft to put the belt do it with the even pistons the four in the middle.
