DAEWOO LANOS PROBLEM 1.4 YEAR 2002 PUBLISHED BY MANUAL-MECANICA
Good morning

to see if someone can help me, because we have no idea where the failure is.

I have a Daewoo Lanos 1.4 of the year 2002 and for two weeks, when I start the car and circulate a while with it, stop, and we have discovered that a fuse is based (the electrical system of the gas pump, I think). When we change it for a new one, it normally starts and circulate another little while with him, until the same thing happens.

The mechanic has checked the pump and wiring in case there was a short circuit, but all ok.

Now I have it again in the workshop and the mechanic has no idea, he needs to review the food system, but it is not very clear.

If anyone knows what can happen to him, he would help me a lot, because I am more lost than an octopus in a garage.

Many thanks for everything.

Hello, look is not a short circuit because the fuse does not cut immediately, you have to fix that another system feeds that fuse, they are almost never only for the pump, now when discovering this other system check if it also has a relay, there are pumps that in addition to the fuse are commanded by a relay, when these relay do not work correctly, they produce an overheating in the system, with a possible short That this is the problem, the toyatas occupy this type of system, check the other converters.
Well, your symptom is not short sirw with overheating,

From what you say I think it is because the gasoline pump must be obstructed or the gasoline filter, and it costs it to turn, that leads to an excess of electricity consumption of the pump that causes the fuse to burn. Anyway, check the entire gas feeding circuit. greetings
