Disassemble SEAT GPS published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello,

I have a Seat Leon 1.9 TDI of the year 2000, equipped with the GPS of origin. The CD's charger does not work and the GPS gives problems. Solution: Remove it and put an author with MP3 + BluetoOH + USB, and a small glove compartment to hide the free hole, since 2 DIN step to 1 DIN.

Can you tell me the steps to follow to disassemble the GPS?

Thanks and greetings

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: disassemble GPS from the Seat Leon
Hi Rekoveko. Has it taken for a long time to reach this conclusion, or is it that you are so \ "Cortito \" that it only hurries to this solution? A little seriousness, man! When a person asks for this type of help, it is to do it himself, and since there are very well explained mechanics manuals, he only asked for one of them

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: disassemble GPS from the Seat Leon
The conclusion is the fastest and clear that I can give to a person who has no fucking idea of how a GPS system works and wants to disassemble and mount another. From their own experience, these works always end in the workshop and with all the cables cut and dates, a problem for the electromechanical that has it and that assemble and more money that the client has to pay. And by the way there is no manual to explain how to do it.
But as you are daring or rich there it goes:

to disassemble the GPS of the Leon, you need four special keys for Seat Selfrades, those of Ford also serve.
The keys are put in the holes, two at the top and two in the bottom and stretch.
Once it is disconnected the rear GPS connectors.
According to the radio you are going to mount, it seems not of origin. You must cancel the Can line to avoid parasites and electricity breakdowns in comfort, this is done by interspersing a resistance of 60 ohmnios.
In Seat they sell an adapter to put a self -relay in the hole that remains in the central console, it is the best if you do not want a fudge.
Now it sets the new self -destroying, connect the connectors to its place, if they are not equal, buy an adapter and do not cut cables, each cable cut into a problem.

You will say how it has gone ...

Hi Rekoveko. As I am not rich, I will surely be a bit daring. I made the installation, before you sent me your advice. Anyway, thank you very much.

All correct. Greetings
