Hello:

I have a Seat Leon 1.9TDI 105CV (BKC Motor) of 2006 with 200,000km.

1000km ago I have changed the bimasa steering wheel, clutch kit, distribution kit and water pump.

And since then I notice the following:

1º- I notice a claquet or noise of the engine by slightly stepping on the clutch. That is, without getting out, pisaging it only a little, like 1 or 2 cm. If the clutch does not floor this noise does not occur.

2º- When the car leaves the car vibrates more or less at 1000rpm and said vibration disappears towards 1200rpm. The same happens in 2nd and 3rd speed.

3º- By accelerating I notice a slight and sharp whistle that disappears when it stops accelerating. The whistle is barely heard if not tuned the ear well.

Can anyone guide me about whether it is worrying or what can be due?

Thank you very much and greetings !!

Manual-Mecanica response on the noise and vibrations in the car after maintenance
Hello Diealo1, I do not know that I will think that the noise when stepping on the
clut 1200 ... I would not give importance (according to the vibration ..)
the whistle can be from the distribution strap (if the belt is very tense) you can review the position of the tensioner to ensure, but it may stop sounding in a few kmts.
This is what those things seem to me, but the opinion of others would be good. Greetings!!

Manual-Mecanica response on the noise and vibrations in the car after maintenance
Undoubtedly, your case is to worry. First a clutch has a longba duration so it has strange sounds and vibration do not expect to improve with the run of the kilometers. I would not know how to tell you what is the problem that should be said by the technician that would give it up if he tells you that it is normal to you. Among the possibilities there is that this badly placed, it is not the conjunctocorto, it is trotted of a poor quality product. Normally the sound is made by the so -called thrust bearing that is responsible for coupling and decoupling the clutch plaque. It is something economically cheap but strange that fails from the beginning. The vibration is a bad settlement of the plates. The technician will tell you to adjust, that is not true. Sometimes these two defects can come from simpler defects but I doubt it. The first by adjusting the clutch from the coupling mechanism of varying its tension can disappear. The vibration theme could also be a cash or engine leg that has been lazy or broken. You should keep in mind that to replace the clutch, the gearbox is usually removed and something could be lazy. In all cases the solution must be given to you who replaces the clutch. Greetings and luck.
