Opel Border Injector Pump 2.3TD Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello friends, I am changing the injection pump of an Opel border 2.3TD Motor 23dtr and I am already driving, there is no way to look for the point.
I put the motor steering wheel in the OT brand (upper dead point) and the camshaft pulley in its corresponding brand and the cylinder No. 1 is left in explosion (starting to count on the part of the motor steering wheel) but now the problem is in which position you have to place the piñón of the injection pump.
The pinion has an engraved point, but there is no way to know how to place it.
There is also another mark on the motor steering wheel that puts P, I suppose it can correspond to the pump. I do not know if you have to pay attention to the OT mark, or the P, the issue is that I have already put and removed the injected pump about 10 times and there is no way to get the car to go fine at all.
I would very much appreciate if someone could help me
greetings to all and thanks in advance.

I would put the PMS brand, the tree in its brand (cross valve crossing. 4) and explosion in the 1, the 1 may be the distribution side and not in the motor steering wheel, the pump must have already injected into the cylinder 1 at this time (it will begin about 12 or 18º before the PMS). Identify the CIL. 1 and turn the pump will throw you diesel (start of injection) and there it may match the P. test to see. Greetings!!

Manual-Mecanica response on the topic injector pump Opel border 2.3TD
Hello everyone, in the end I got it !!!!!, the pump stayed and the engine goes like a clock, thank you very much Ismael53 for your help, it was very useful, I did it more or less as you told me, I also got looking online, the tis 2000 of Opel that also explained something, although the problem is that I was in English.
Well I will explain a little the steps I followed in case someone ever had the same problem.
Remove the rocker lid, rotate and crankshaft to place the steering wheel in the ot (PMS) position, and piston 1 in explosion time (piston 1 starting with the distribution) piston 4 will be at the crossroads of valves, if not turn the crankshaft another round until the piston 1 is in explosion, then to the pump that we have removed, we locate it. N1 injector, now we put the current to the 12V solenoid valve so that it opens and can leave diesel for the 4 outputs, then we turn the pump pinion in its corresponding direction of rotation until seeing in which point the gas injects the diesel by exit 1, when we have it located, very important this, "" we turn the pinion so far just when the jump begins to exert the jump of the leap. The diesel for exit 1, we leave the pinion in that position "". (This would be the point)
later we will go behind the engine wheel and we will delay the "OT" mark and place it in the "P", then we put the pump to place the pump in its accommodation with care that the pinion of the position that we leave it does not move does not move.
Following these steps you must start the engine well, then to avoid fumes or cliff chopped, we will advance or delay the pump in the sliding of the fixing screws.
I hope it helps you if you ever have the same problem, greetings !!!
