I cut the alternator's correa, it is a peugeot 406 2.0 full automatic year 2004 I made the change of strap and still does not start, the short strap a water hose also solves it I do not see cut cables or unplugged the car has an injection pulse and spark too, I would appreciate its help

at the time of cutting the belt.

I do not know if in your model the PMS collector bears on the crankshaft pulley, if so, put that when breaking the strap it has rolled up and moved this, so that the signal will be out of point, another thing is that the belt has curled up squeezing the tapas of the distribution and has jumped the distribution strap, with which it checks the draft of it. Luck!
