Factory batteries are calculated to sustain the normal consumption of the car, a battery of greater amperage, it would give you a greater reserve (formerly failures in the alternator, excessive consumption or insistent starts) but in turn, before a large discharge or exhaustion (for many starts or forget the lights on) the alternator will take it longer to take it to its normal load level.
