Good, I have a VW Vento 2.5 with two faults: P0135 and P2231, change the Lambda probe and follow the fault, does anyone have any problem like this?

The first, says defective sensor, the second I think it may be due to wiring or connector, checks the continuity of the cables from the ECU ECUFE to the plug or a bad contact of the connector itself. Greetings!!

Hello, P0135 refers to the oxygen sensor heater circuit. The second, P2231 refers to the engine control unit detecting an electrical cut between the sensor heater and the signal line. I have seen several neighbors in VW, and generally there is Poblemas in the wiring, which is not cut, if those 2 signals that should not. Disconnect the sensor and connector from the engine control unit, you must take resistance in the cable, between the signal pin and the sensor heater, you must give you several megahm, if the resistance is low, the 2 signals are in cut. If they are ok, that is isolated to each other, check the ECU Motor. Eye If the Bora has immivilizer, you should not put another computer or module in the system to test it, it will be immobilized. If you determine that it is the ECU, you must change it, program the immobile and restart the site with a scanner. It should be remembered that a fault code is a problem in a circuit ... not in the component, therefore it requires diagnosis greetings.

Assuming that after changing the probe the error CODs were erased, I get the impression that the P2231 can be causing some problem in the wiring, because that COD indicates short circuit. I would check with a tester the food, mass and resistance of the probe and wiring.
The other possibility is that the probe is of poor quality, but it is rare that you copy the same codes.
