the theme in question is this: I have a Mitsubishi Lancer Glx year 1992 carburated, and the problem that I have been presenting and I have read in other forums is common, current failures by the coil; The detail is that the coil is inside the distributor and by the heat emitted by the engine over time, and begins to lose its efficiency to the point of not serving. I would like to know then if there is any proven way to change the distributor system to place an external coil and that other components would be replaced in the alleged case.
