Friends: I hope you can get this one; this Nissan was placed the Scaner gave me PO325 code and says malfunction of circuit 1 of the pounding sensor ... check it .. Prove continuity from the sensor to the ECU. If someone could help me, I would be appreciated forever. In addition, I could not find the exact values that this sensor must throw for example, ohms, frequency ... to be able to compare them and know if the sensor that bought this defective ... I would appreciate if someone gives me these values or can give me the fact where the manual of this nissan is .. The cylinder is 3300cc.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Nissan Pathfinder V6 Model 96
Greetings

The resistance between Terminal 1 (seeing the terminal of the left to right sensor) and mass is 500-620 kohms at 25 °
clean the oxide of the mass terminals that are on the common motor camera and adjust them well also check continuity between the sensor terminal and the ECM and between the F101 and F21 connectors
that you will find following the wiring of the sensor ... Check That wire since it is a shielded driver

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Re: Nissan Pathfinder V6 Model 96
Greetings:
Thanks to your answer now I know that my measurements are not so black, because it gave me a value of 534k ohms. Also check continuity to the ECU, even replace the cable of the same type for a moment from the sensor to the ECU. The bad thing was that I even stopped registering the same P0325 code after erase ... choose to diagnose that it was the internal problem of the ECU. However, there is a doubt if it can really be the problem of the ECU and because this damage could have occurred.

It can be the problem of the ECU, they are unlikely but the best way to try it is, if you have the post -devility, get an ECU with a friend or acquaintance that has the same, but saves I had an altuous similar problem but with the firing sensor of the crankshaft, change sensor and nothing directly and nothing, try with another ECU and nothing, and all the problem came to light, when the owner of the vehicle told me that the problem would come to me. Of changes for a clutch, check the box and the motor earth I did not have a good contact, I clean the earth and the problem was solved, I cost me a lot of time to arrive this result so you do not take this data to the lijera, test and letharms.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Re: Nissan Pathfinder V6 Model 96
The resistance value is fine The sensor has no problems what can be is that the engine lands are not well connected and therefore the voltage generated by the sensor is very low and the ECM detects it as a sensor failure .... Check and clean all the engine of the engine and if the car has already suffered any greater repair it is possible that they have taken some lands and they have not put them back in place ... Check this too. If the problem still persists, you should make an landed cable to directly bridge the engine with a lizard but with an eye terminal to empernar) and test.
I hope it will help you
