Cold start Iveco 6 cylinders

Here is an Iveco with 6 -cylinder fiat motor and capacity of 5 tons and it turns out that the device that serves to activate the cold start membrane of the pump no longer works. The vehicle starts without it. But in the morning the start is quite difficult. Sometimes we have activated that membrane manually and works. But the problems is when you are alone and you want to start. since as you know this mechanism, it returns by force of a spring. I would appreciate an idea of ​​how to activate this mechanism in another way from the cabin and thus avoid having an assistant when starting it. From thanks for your collaborations.
