oil rod posted by manual-mecanica
Hello colleagues I am new on these issues but I see that they respond to consultations and I will look at if they can solve me or give an idea to my problem.

I have a Land Rover Freelander of 99 and the other day when I look at the oil I broke the rod of looking at the oil I could take it out but at the tip I had a black plastic thing and now it is not when it puts it again does not let me introduce it until the end. What can I do?

Some friends said that when changing the oil that disassemble the carter lid and there could be to solve the problem but the carter would not carry a joint and you will have to change, I wait for your clarifications if you can thank you in advance and I like this I will be here for a long time asking and clarifying thanks thanks

And how do you not have to disassemble the carter? You see that I am new in these things
