Failure in full march published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, friends again .. !!

This time I go to your aid for the following:

Recently my Fiat Siena 98, in full march and in climbing by hills in the second speed loses strength until it stops .. This happens when the engine is already filmed for some time .. I have changed the coils, gas filter, injector cleaning. I have noticed that the gasoline pump makes a strong noise that even in the march is heard .. It is a buzz.
But a mechanic apparently tried the pressure of the pump and says it is fine ..

What failure can the pump present if it is the one with a problem? What else should it check before deciding to change the pump?

I thank again for the help you can give me !!

Greetings!!

Have you checked the pump regulator?

Hello friend with respect to your problem, it would be good that you install a manometro to measure the fuel pressure and you try it. If it was an electronic damage, on the board the witness of the fault hits you. It is most likely that the fault is in the pump or in the electrical circuit that energizes the pump.

Thanks friends for your comments.

The injector failure indicator ignites on occasions, and then disappears.

When this fault was presented for the second time, take it to hit the Scaner, however in the mechanic I found that everything was apparently well.

The injectors received their cleaning finding a defective one and replaced. This cleaning was done almost 3 months ago.

Recently I am in a town in the middle of the mountain, with which the streets has a pronounced inclination, I have seen Fiat Siena 98 here and they walk well to be a 1.3 engine.

However, in mine with 4 passengers I almost did not leave the first speed to rise, and if I pass at the second speed, I do not pass 20km/hr.

The pump presents a noise like a permanent buzzing and is heard inside the vehicle if attention is paid.

Before making a change of the pump, advising me to revise the pump pressure regulator, where can I bes like?

If I do not have a manometro at hand, there is another way to prove if the pressure is very low?

Thanks for your help !! GREETINGS!!

Hello friend. The fuel pressure regulator is together with the fuel pressure pump (inside the tank is fuel. They can be tested with the pressure gangster). The pressure gauge is the only tool with which you can rule out the pump damage and the fuel pressure regulator.
