As you have told you, you must check first that there are no suegueras of empty, that makes you spend gasoline. That all cables and spark plugs work well. Check the ECT sensor, the gasoline pressure regulator, the MAF or MAP. The Hego sensor can fail, but it is weird, it is a reflection of the fault.
