Power loss in Renaul Megane published by Manual-Mecanica
I have a Renault Megane DCI 1.9 Phase 2 year 2001,
and the theme is that I lost power, I come to 120 in 5th and I take a slope I have to put 4th step to 3rd and stay 80 kilometers hour and that does not come out.
The flowmeter is changed to the EGR and nothing.
No breakdown pilot is turned on, when he stepped on a blow, a lot of black smoke comes out, in the rest he has no failures.
I would like to know if there is a way to review the operation of the EGR outside its place, make it open and close electrically to see if it works well.
I hope it has been clear and I expect some solution.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Power Loss in Renaul Megane
The EGR paths can promote outside, but you have to have a machine layers of activating it at will, do not entertain it from Vateria since it does not work with 12 volts, I advise you to measure the compression of cylinders before continuing to cause sensors and that you are scheduled by the basic tests to the clutch usually passes to the Renaul
