Strong whistle in turbo published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello good, I am not a mechanic or I have a lot of experience in this ... I have a golf IV 1.9 TDI.Llevo looking for the whole day and I have not wondered much.
My problem is a sound of the Turbo something weird as if you will blow in a supermarket bag when stepping hard. I have read that it may be due to some mushroom of the admission that may be chopped or cracked. I don't think it's Turbo Poerque himself, he was changed recently.
As for the power, I notice that it loses some strength.
Thank you very much for your time!

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Strong whistle in Turbo
Greetings friend. From what you explain I suppose that the problem is an escape by one of the joints, with the engine on runs out through the joints to see which is that it blows (without touching them because you can burn) having fled the turbo loses precion and there is the loss of strength, do it and tell me later ...

Karma is right, I have a Ford Mondeo and the same thing happened to me and it was Yna escape from a sleeve, I also had the spicy escape at the output of the engine I did not know which of the two was the problem but I changed it and ready, neither blow or anything. all the best

I load it and adme case K if it shows, especially in the slopes, a simple slope had to climb in 1 and 2nd, if you see k the car is very lazy and the slopes do not upload to you the case that you will notice. Do not complicate and take it to a workshop, I do not think K is very expensive, ask for a budget for
