Hello,

I have to disassemble the electric seat a BMW E46, but since the Alante-Atrás engine does not work, I cannot access the screws that fix the guides to the chassis. Any idea how to move the seat manually or how to disassemble it without accessing these screws?

Thank you

Disconnect the electrical installation of the seat to the vehicle, locate the engine of the guide and with a battery you feed the mortor if you want to turn to the opposite side you just have to change the polarity.

Eye this is done with an auxiliary battery and directly to the seat engine connector.

If the engine does not work, you will have to loosen the engine to release it from the guide

Thanks for the ideas. I think I will start by connecting the battery directly to the engine, because disassembling it is almost impossible because of the hole and also carries a forwarding to the other side, so you surely have to disassemble the entire mechanism ....

Thank you again.
