Cargo circuit problem in Citroen Xsara published by Manual-Mecanica
HELLO EVERYONE.
I have a Citroen Xsara Year 2000 1.6
From a while to this part the load system has been failing. Initially the battery began to boil, change it. Subsequently send to repair the alternator suspecting that it will load more than.
A constant problem was that in the lights there is a change of power and simultaneously variation in the acceleration of the vehicle.
At some point the battery was completely downloaded and the alternator did not deliver load, so he sent it again.
I installed it and tried again that the alternator does not load. Checking the operation of the load circuit I have realized that there is no tension in the stator. I have not scarled beyond since I do not know the system very well ... I would appreciate any help that guides me to solve this failure.
Greetings to all and that are very good ...
Max

Hi Max, it is evident that the alternator does not charge either because of the regulator or by the portadiode plate, if you sent it to repair and did not leave it well you should claim who did the job, or try to do it yourself by dismantling it and checking it well, luck and greetings. :)

Thanks Jal ... but I already checked the alternator outside the car and is working properly.
There is a cable that energizes the alternator stator after you contact the vehicle, is it likely that this cable has been cut?
Thanks again ...

The easiest thing to do is put new cables to the alternator are only two cables so I will not deviate to see more problem feeds direct battery and ready, try if you do well do the installation again

Hello, I would priomer what I would do is see if the 12V of excitement reaches the alternator connector when the vehicle is torn, but it would give a parallel cable to see if it loads and confirms that the failure is excited.
If the 12v Miraria get to you if the Cigueñal pulley is turned since it is usually a double pulley attached by a Goam that sometimes turns the extended part on the bottom probating that the apparus of accessories does not turn to the desired laps. I would do it by making a mark that covers the rubber and the two pulleys and start the cars and stop a couple of times, if the brand has moved there you have the failure a pulley of the crap.
