Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Range Rover
I had a problem but worse but I stayed without pressure (not in a rover) and we tried the bomb outside and was perfect.
It turns out that at the ends of the rod that normally command the pumps and that come from the camshaft or the distributor in other cases, they have a hexagon as a snack on the tips.
It turned out that in one of the tips the hexagon had been rounded by the wear and the bomb did not take the laps to throw the necessary pressure.
Moreover. Maybe in low turns he throws more than high and is because he skates the plus the embedment.
But before this disarming, I would suggest that you review the oil pressure regulating valve, which has not overcome the spring that normally carries, because if this being that valve would be more open than necessary and would be losing your pressure.
I clarify that I have no idea of the specific thing about that engine, but what I tell you is a bit common to any engine.
Hopefully help you. Luck

You have tried a manometro to measure the pressure can be the defective sensor.-
