Honda Hero Splendor Lost Oil

Hello, I have an intrigue and discovered that every time a screw passed a screw that enters the box goes out to escape oil that through a small channel pours on the pinion and the chain. I would like to know if it is normal for me to lose a lot of oil through there. and how this device acts. It would also grant if someone has the workshop manual.
