Oil change from an HDI 90CV Picasso published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, Jo had a cytroen zx and I always did the change of oil and filters, but now with the Picasso I do not see it clear, especially the oil and gas-oil filter. Someone does a hand. Thank you

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Oil Change of an HDI 90CV Picasso
If you wear the 2.0 HDI engine of 90 hp, (DW9) the matter is not very complicated,

first it will be to remove the cover that is taken with staples to the front chassis, once you have done this, with the hot engine you take the oil from the crankcase (it has no more complication than with the ZX) and remove the oil filter that is on the side of the engine closest to the radiator. You put the cap, the new filter, oil to level, save and voila.

To change the diesel filter, the first thing is to remove the embellish cover that carries the engine up and that turns the staples. Once you have done this, you will find the diesel filter next to the oil rod, it is involved in a black boat that two plastic tubes reach, one with the green tip and one with the black tip. The tubes are disconnected from the upper part of the boat squeezing the peaks they carry in the fast plugs and pulling them. Once you have the tubes removed, you put a glass of carraca in the hexagon that is right in the center of the lid and strips to loosen 1/4 back. You remove the diesel filter cover and then change the diesel filter. (Have the precaution of changing all the rubbers that come in the filter and not leave the lower rubber in the glass before putting the new one that does not close the lid).

Once you have replaced the filter and the rubber, it only remains to close the lid clenching 1/4 back and put the diesel tubes in its place (they cannot be put otherwise). You put the contact so that the electric pump fill the circuit and then start.

All the best.
