Hello, I would like to know, how the oil level of the 01M exchange box that equips the golf of the year 99 is seen and how it is done to change the filter, I do not find it, I do not know where it goes, unless you have to remove the carter from the gearbox if I remove the cap below only 1 liter of oil comes out and that I think it cannot be, I understand that it has three liters Your answers

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Box Automatic Changes Golf
Well, to remove the filter you have to get the carter and to know the level is verified with the Kilometer Account sensor, the oil does not reveal to exceed the toothed wheel of the sensor's tip.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the subject Automatic Changes Golf
You have to remove the cactus cap.
Looking at the front car, on the right side, just behind the small bumper grid you have a cap that goes under pressure, oil pumps until it starts to go out through the carter hole, since inside it has a level tube, the level is correct when the ATF exceeds the height of this tube and therefore empirers the refos. This is why when you remove the plug, just one liter, there is no way to empty the carter just taking it away.
To make sure that the level is correct, with the carter plug removed and start the engine and pass the panel of the change for all positions (PNR123) pumping oil until it is underneath.
