Weber DCNVA-11 carburetor published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello everyone, I am looking for an scheme exploded from the Weber DCNVA-11, when going to start there are times to drown and until it does not pass a while fails to start, then the car goes well, without pulls and with a very good consumption. If anyone knows something about this carburetor that leaves a message in the forum. I forget, it is a Chrysler 150 with a few years.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Weber DCNVA-11 carburetor
Check the opening of the upper carburetor chapa (Starter) that you have to do it in cold sienpreter if it is automatic or electric or is connected with two water hoses the chapaleta must be open approx 1 centimeter so that the carburetor does not drown and then it must be opened little by little while heating checks that and you let me know. Greetings Alf.-

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Weber DCNVA-11 carburetor
Thank you very much short circuit for your answer, in the end the fault was not produced by the carburetor, although the result was that it was drowning the same. The fault was produced by the electronic ignition, the power transistor that it has had to be referred to mass due to a bad insulation of the mica of the mica that we carry (it is already very old) and with a little moisture it failed, it was sparking. Very weak, and by not inflaming the mixture that touched the accelerator drowning (these carburetors their weak point was that even though they were adjusted to drown), I have solved it after reviewing the entire ignition system putting an electronic ignition that I had a replacement, in any case I reiterate the thanks for your response and apologize to answer you but I am very busy. All the best
