Stratus 96 Mexico DF published by Manual-Mecanica
I have a Stratus 96, a year ago I had a problem when turning left, it was always in the same place.

The gasoline pump, the coil, the crankshaft sensor, the coil connector have already been changed and the computer has even been sent at service.

Now it goes out more often and turns on the check Engine and records the P032 code or when it is given 3 times with the ignition key brand 12, 43 and 55.

The problem that marks is that the primary ignition \ "b \" does not work, and when it does the problem it is verified if there is a spark in the coil and only two make spark the other two not.

This has to do with the crankshaft sensor, because in my other car a Fordour when this sensor does not work does not spark in the four outputs of the coil, but I do not know if in the Stratus it is the same.

Other computers have already been tested, which we know are fine and does the same problem.

Someone can help me

I remain at your service

Hello Acejo you have checked the engine ground cables you may have a loose ground cable that gives mass to the switchboard or feeds some car network

Hello Ocejo, take a look at the post \ "failure in two cylinders of Mitsubishi Eclipse 95 \" because the problem you describe me looks very similar.

Check the connectors of the ignition coils, the masses, the cable hoses that feed the ignition coils, if you can exchange the ignition coils when you stay in two cylinders, if the failure persists in the same two cylinders, the problem does not have it in the coil, but in the electrical installation. If on the contrary the lack of spark is now in the other two cylinders, it is clear that it is the high coil that is failing.

All the best.

Thank you short circuit and thanks Megabeat1 for your answers, today you find that the failure is on the PCM or switchboard in one of the modules I do not know if the 40 or 41 but when you go if one puts a focus to the ground and connects in Pin 1 of the PCM it presses simulating the pulsations of the coil, but in the pin2 that would be the other pair there, it will not press, will it be to work? I reiterate this problem only when the car is heated, not cold.

I stay at its orders
