Check Engine Explorer '01 Published by Manual-Mecanica
Good morning, I have a Ford Explorer XLS mod. 2001, 6cil. Motor 4.0 turned on the check Engine, and they put computer review and threw damage to oxygen sensors Bank 1 and 2, for poor mixture of gasoline and oxygen, clean injectors, the sensors changed and it remains the same .... the check turned off the check a day after changing the sensors and it turned on with the same fault ... bring new spark plugs, oil, gas filter of gasoline and new air ... Again account for computer review but they have not found the problem ... I hope support .... have an excellent day ...

If the codes are 171y174 it is probably the dirty air flow sensor or else an air suck. Check all the emptiness hoses almost certain is this greetings Gustavo Gustavo

Good morning

in Ford it is very frequent that poor oxygen sensor codes appear both Bank 1 and 2, this is revealed to the admission is contaminated with oil due to lack of change of the PCV valve or some hose of this valve is broken, to correct the fault the multiple or full of admission must be disassembled, clean it and change its packaging (together) PCV and its hoses.

Okis ... I appreciate your support and information .... I have followed the revision process as the manual marks it ... including the steps that have kindly suggested ... but nevertheless there is no failure or cables .... Filter of gasoline .... PCV valve and sensors ..... the pressure of the gasoline in the service valve is checked and throws 60 lbs constant ... Pressure that must have in the injector rails ..... because in the manual only the pressure of the pump is not the rail ... and the mechanic tells me that it is a lot to have it directly in the rail and the intectors ... since the rails have a Damper pulsation that helps to distribute but however the way I get a lot and I do not want to venture to buy the gasoline pump ... Pressure that is integrated .... I appreciate your support ...
