Good help please

I have a 93 golf, the needle that marks the level of de -peak gasoline no longer marked, already disconnect the battery for a few minutes, check the fuses and they are fine, someone could tell me if there is something that can do or definitely take it to the good electric that is on the one hand and it is also very slow in the roller and consumes me a lot Spark plug wires does not bring catalyst and recently changed the exhaust tube I don't know if that damages the sensor thanks: blush:
