Doubt about change of time band published by Manual-Mecanica
HELLO FRIENDS! It is my first MSJ in this forum and I hope someone guides me ... I have a American voyager and those who have seen it ask me if I change the time band (equivalent to distribution chain). Does anyone know if this band has a useful life and change it before it fails? When should I or should I have done? It has the normal mileage of 20,000 km x year

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Doubt about time change
Hello, for the truck model, I think it should be a 3.0, or 3.3 engine, whatever the engine, it is advisable to change it every 60,000 miles or its equivalent in kilometers, since then it is risky to continue working, in the case that it tubed oil leakage by distribution seals, it must be changed immediately since the oil will damage it.
I hope this answer sits you

That wave elphlaquito that happened to you in the first place do not say what type of motor it brings but the same the system is the same you have to change the bands every 100,000 km, well so the Japanese say and for that they are an eminence, I do not know how much you have with the truck but that you have to change it that I do not hope to help you and luck.

Time band !! HA HA HA! You should put what engine type is your vehicle because not all the Voyager engines use \ "Timing Belt \" or its correct translation, distribution strap. If you use Correa, they are normally changed every 120,000 km, if you wear chain or gears, nothing is necessary to change.
