Mercedes Sprinter published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, I have a problem with a Mercedes Sprinter. When the clutch pedal is held and pressed, the revolutions normally exceed 2800 rpm, but when the clutch pedal is released, it only reaches the 2800 rpm as a stop. On the short road at 2800 it is necessary to pass changes to increase the speed, being in fifth a maximum speed of 90 km-H at 2800 rpm. I need some reference of the topic and if there is any sensor in the exchange box that limits the revolutions when the marches act (in the case of the sensor being broken). thank you....

I guess you already open it !! But the shot for someone who alla the same the same

the problem is in the regulatory valve of the Turbo Geometry and is under the air filter !! That is lack of power but if they accelerate in empty they step on the clutch and release it does not change the power is because the clutch pedal sensor is damaged

I agree with Manort, the signal of that sensor is essential so that Turbo's geometry works well greetings
