Hello,

I have a problem with a Fiat folded. It is simple, when it rains it does not start. If there are rainy days the car usually goes well until when it turns it off, it makes a strange noise and a movement like that of broken engine (the legs are new) as if the engine was stirred when turning it off.

The next time you want to light it, it is hard to get run and then stay like in three cylinders and go out, leaving a lot of white smoke behind. You can give the starter engine a thousand times but it doesn't go.

After a couple of days it starts without problems .. and so a thousand times. The car has changed the distribution strap, clutch, heaters, the oil is at level, new filters ... of everything.

This whole problem started years ago when once I broke a cooling sleeve under the fuel filter since it was dripping fuel in the sleeve. That day the sleeve and fuel filter changed .. From there the hell has begun. The filter changed again .. all the tubes were changed from the tank to the engine .. and everything remains the same. Chance that that day was also raining ..

what can it be?

Hi Roberplay, look that it is rare what happens to you ... It only occurs to me that it is taking air for the entrance or exit in the fuel filter, I do not know if it is a "fast" plug or with a clamp, if the sleeve is transparent, see that it does not have bubbles when it does this. Another is that when you stop, it should carry a butterfly strangler to cut the air passage to the engine, if the connector or the electrovalve are exposed to moisture or water, it may fail and not close at the time and from there that the engine is stirred when stopping it, after you start, the air pass is closed and not start by drowning (a lot of fuel and little air) You will tell us. Greetings!!

Hi Roberplay, if you only do it in wet, it is normal to be a failure in some electrical contact, or very rare, some gum joint that dilates with moisture.
You talk about heaters and gas-oil, but we do not know what engine it carries, if it is direct injection, if it has an electronic plant that governs it, etc.
