Drainage Filter Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello

I have a Hyundai Accent 1.5 CRDI, D4FA engine. The problem it has is that it takes about 4.5 seconds to extinguish the oil pressure witness (only when it is standing more than six hours). Eche only 5 liters of oil. After 6 hours the level is above the maximum. At the same way it makes the same noise as after an oil change (how much the filter is filling with oil)
Could it be the vulvula of discharge of the oil pump or does it have another anti -diver and where is it?
Any opinion would come well

thanks

Look at the oil filter, it is also good with a valve, at least in the Suzukis it may be that this evil filter is that the other is that the pump has wear, this suddenly happened or was it after some repair or blow or something?

That data is important because if it was after an oil change or something can vary the cause.

Hi Cretu, if it can be the pump discharge valve, in any case, take it to your oil level, because if you throw more, you are still reaching the discharge valve that your thing is that there is space between discharge and oil level ... (in addition to other problems that a high level of oil brings). Apart from all this, you should measure the oil pressure when you start and hot, there may be pressure or that when stopping time, the cylinder head ducts are emptied (I do not know if this engine carries anti -secretory) and when starting, there is no pressure until the oil goes up to the cylinder head (those 4.5 sec. Of which you speak). Greetings!!

The filter is filter cartridge type.
The oil pump discharge valve I think only to limit the maximum pressure A (5 ± 0.5kg/cm², 71 ± 7.1PSI)
I know the consequences of a high level of oil.
The oil crankcase capacity is 4.8 Ly of the 0.5 L filter, total 5.3 l.le eche only 5l. After 6 hours the level is by enzyme of the maximum (the oil filter is emptied)
