Problem with Nissan Sentra 1989

Well, I'm new this forum and I would like someone to help me. 2 days ago my car started with a strange noise in the back, specifically by the left rear tire, assuming that it was the gasoline pump I made the change, but the problem was not fully solved, because the noise persists. Now another problem joined, the car worked for a short time, because right now it is standing without starting. I do not know anything about cars and I would like to know if it has something to do with the carburetor (I have read that some of these cars are carburados and others have a system called injection TBI) and if it is an electrical problem of the car either the coil or some other piece.
