PALIO DIESEL went out and I don't start more published by Manual-Mecanica
Good night for the forum, my name is Reni I have a Fiat Palio 98 1.7 diesel, loosen the distribution strap because it was very stretched and I felt a blow, well when placing it again I turned the crown that is connected to the injected pump about 5 teeth more or less, I turned it without problems the only thing towards a pounding that after 2 kilometers it went and continued normal Without doing noise or anything else, what is observed is that the injection pump does not send them diesel and change the complete solenoid of the off that goes to the pump just in case, I tell you that I go out without stuttering or anything is like the fuel ended something like that, I hope you can help me thank you very much

As the fellow Huipi tells you, to "check the belt" or the draft of this, which is not normal to start and hear "a poured" in the engine ... you say that 5 teeth were left more or less in the pump, but you do not say if it also left in the pineapple of crankshaft or in the camshaft; that they have been able to bend to valves if this has happened. I hope you are lucky and of course, check the draft and turn it by hand before starting the engine. Greetings

Good thanks for the tips, I tell you that only the crown is turned that is connected to the pump the rest not and it is possible that it can circulate 75km without anything happens and that the valves are bent? I ask why I am totally unexpected on the subject thanks
