Manual-Mecanica Response on the thermostat
If the carburetor starter is automatic and is functioning the water temperature, do not open the input air and clear that you would get much more if you do not condemn this system in the carburetor, in addition to drowning the engine. In any case, I do not advise anyone to go without thermostat, especially due to engine wear problems since the piston does not adjust well with the cylinder until its temperature does and can be "campaigning" among other things ... Safe!

Manual-Mecanica Response on the thermostat
Mmmmm you know the fuel spending if it depends on the working temperature but if the thermostat is not affecting the consumption notoriously, I say this with the greatest respect with Ismael, which if it affects you are the direct fans because the temperature is demaus low with respect to the working temperature. Being thickened without thermostat spends a little more until it reaches the working temperature but is almost negligible. Anyway, as me to believe you have to try nothing.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the thermostat
The same expresses me badly, what I referred to is the automatic starter in some carburetors, if it is of the spring type (bimetal) that opens the carburetor butterfly according to the water that enters the spiral box or spring, if it takes to heat this water because there is no thermostat, it will be to be closed, of there greater consumption. Greetings to all !!
