4x4 failure published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello very good foreros, I am new in the forum and first of all thank you in case you can help me. I have a 2006 4wd Kia Sportage of 140 hp 2.0 I had a blow a few months ago a front blow and jumped the chivato of the 4x4. When active the recruitor shows that it does not coupled because it does not make the typical fibration of the coupling. I would know how to say that typical problems usually give?

Manual-Mecanica Response on the 4x4 failure
Good compi, if your kia is the version that changes 4x4 mode with a button (electronically) it is almost certain that the engine that switches stuck, or disconnect/short the wiring. It is very easy, you throw yourself under the BUGA and you will see that in the transfer case that is stuck behind the transmission an electric motor is very similar to that of the crystals. Check the connector that can have a cut cable and if you can remove the electric motor with tranquility that nothing will jump. Greetings!
