In the HDI it is assumed that the pump is only to put pressure on the common rail, in some engines it carries a position collector the pump. In this case it does not need to maintain the position, but I advise that if it carries blocking drill in the pulley to maintain position, you use it instead of marking the pulley, (I think I remember that it was an M-8 screw as a pin between the pulley and a housing in the block).
