PEUGOOT 406 TD INJECTOR PUMP

Hi, I have a Peugeot 406 2,100 TD of 98 and recently the injection pump was broken, I found one in a scratch but does not throw the diesel, they have told me that I may need the car immobilizer code that carried the pump, can that be possible?
