Figure Cuñal Reten Oil Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, when I went to check the state of the car distribution strap (Honda 1.7 CDTI of 2003) I have seen that there is a small oil leak through the crankshaft area.
I don't know if it is a usual problem in this or other vehicles .... I could tell me someone if it is expensive to repair or if it is not very complicated ... a greeting

Neither expensive, nor complicated, when changing the belt, you take advantage and take the retain simply scratching a couple of wood screws and pulling, a retaining of these costs about 8 euros no more ... of course you have to remove the crankshaft pine

Manual-Mecanica response on the topic Oil Retan Cñañal
For someone who does not have the experience and knowledge if it is complicated, because of the economic one should not be concerned, the priority would be to re -apply to it at all costs since if the belt is wet of oil is burst and there if it would be expensive
