NISSAN MOTOR P11-144 1.6 gasoline

Hello, having if someone can give me some opinion about the 1.6 engine that Nissan mounted in the first of 2001, I need a car to go to work and I found this, the owner tells me that it is going very well and consumes little but what scrubbed me a little is that it has 280000 km, someone knows something about this engine, that they came out and what performance do they give?

For my opinion, against what they have told you, this engine spends quite compared to other cohes (like almost all the Nissan, including the diesel), think about it well, since it has many kmts and the spare parts of Japanese cars are very badly supplied (there is little stock and if they send it it takes a long time to arrive ... at least in Spain). I would look for something that even if it has just as kmts, is easier to maintain, Seat, Citroen Peugeot, Opel ... Nissan engines I think they are quite hard, but that does not mean that they have auxiliary breakdowns and have to go through pieces ... You will see, it's just my opinion. Greetings!!
