Turbocompressor for Hyundai H1 published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, greeting everyone.
A couple of weeks ago I bought a Hyundai H1 2.5 of 2002 I bought it at a good price, but knowing that I had the bad turbo (slack in the turbine), the theme, which now I can not mount a new one, or rebuilt and I have been looking for scardons and I am echoed, because my engine is the D4RH type and the reference of the turbo Garret is 715843-0001, and looking for San Google on the subject (For that reason I have found this forum) I have seen that it is supposed to be turned from Montero 2.5 TD, they are worth it and that those of the Kia Sorento 2. 5 CRDI also are worth it, but they are supposed to be a different type of engine and the references of the turbo are also.
Well that is the doubt, I have to mount exactly a turbo with the reference that I have mounted?, Or can I buy one of a muttering mitsubichi, or a kia soriento for example .....
thanks in advance, and apologize the paragraph.

Manual-mecanica response on the turbocharger topic for Hyundai H1
You would have to look at the Montero or Kia escape collector, (photos) and compare with your collector (lest that the turbo anchor screws do not match, the shape of these ..). In my opinion, I would not take a tear of scratch, they can be the same or worse than yours, what you can do is buy the new cartridge, (it is already balanced) and use the snails you have (that is, repair it) a cartridge usually uses about 180 euros, it is requested by the reference you already have and it is easy to change, they give good result. Greetings!!
