CD4E Ford Escape 2002 Transmission Failure Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello mechanical partners ....... I have a 2002 Ford Escape with 4 -speed automatic transmission is the CD4E but it turns out that the first and second one enters very well but does not change to third or fourth speed ... and after 3000 revolution A diagnosis and did not come out of a sensor or solenoid .... I only throw these two codes that leave me in the same P0733 and P0734, that the only thing that tells you is that it does not change to third and Metallic and pasta and drums and everything is fine, even change the valve box and check the solenoids and all are fine but the transmission nomas does not change ...... I hope and someone gives me some idea something that happened to me ...

Yes ..... but everything is fine, they don't have wear ..... Tomorrow I will take the computer to check if it does not disrupt ... and if it is fine, it will no longer be left to do ...... Thank you for taking the time to answer a companion.

P0733 Generic Gear 3 Incorrect Ratio
P0734 Generic Gear 4 Incorrect ratio

When brand failure in gear relationship at a certain speed, it is usually mechanical failure. Did you check the double drum? In this drum applies forward /direct that the applications influences 3rd and 4th. Check this drum very in detail because they crack and it is very difficult to detect the fissure. Also inspect the status of the pistons working in this double drum.

Luck !!
