Durango Hemi 2006

Hello, someone could give me ideas about reviewing a Durango Hemi engine 5.7, model 2006 what happens is that we repair its engine and when installing it you turn it on accelerates and if you respond well the engine but when you stop accelerating this it goes out, what could be causing that failure? If someone can help me thanks.
