Red witness Oil pressure R1200gs posted by manual-mecanica
I'm breaking my head.

I have an R1200GS year 2012.

Three months ago maintenance was made. CASTROL POWER RS RACING 4, 5W40 OIL MORE ORIGINAL FILTER IS CHANGED.

The ox eye has an oil almost to the maximum. But at 6 temperature stripes the witness (red) of oil pressure is turned on.

When the motorcycle is in idle, the red pressure witness is turned on and so that it goes out, I must keep it accelerated,

change the oil pressure sensor, but follow the problems.

I just changed oil now and filter, I put a semi -synthetic castrol 20W50 plus original filter and follow the problem.

I don't think something is doing mass, since I have not touched the motorcycle at all, except in oil and filter changes.

If there was something doing mass the red witness would turn on only when giving contact and it would be permanent, but it only happens when it reaches 6 stripes of the temperature.

I made a motorcycle scanner and no error code appeared
