Hello! I need help for FA. I do not understand anything of mechanics, so I apologize in case I say any stupidity haha
I have a 2009 Toyota Highlander, which I had to send to repair for a hybrid battery problem (cells 7 and 8 were not working and they had to change them). When the car returned, the audio and navigation system did not work at all (there is no way to listen to music, radio or CDS, there is no how to see the image of the rear camera, etc.). They told me that this happens every time the battery is disconnected and that they had to reinstall the software and for that they would need the DVD that came to me when I bought the vehicle. The issue is that my blessed DVD was lost and now they want to charge me $ 2000 for the installation of the software (and obviously that does not want to cover the insurance). What alternative do they suggest? Thank you!
