Hyundai Accent acceleration problems published by manual-mecanica
Well I told you, I had the problem that when my car left in neutral when I go along the road the car was stuck to 1500 rpm in the highs and in the traffic lights and I lowered very slowly how strange in which parking was parked even if I was on the light I did not accelerate it and it normally had to run it to see the problem I take it to the workshop
And the problem was arranged no longer staying and works well now. The problem arising to touch that screw was that when it turned on in the morning or that a long period off the revolutions fall to 500 and it goes out already heating does not give that problem now if it regulates it in cold to 1000 rpm it rises only up to 1500 and falls to 1000 This evil or the screw already has a leak and makes me pass more air from the devoid and that is why it is difficult for 1000 to have this car is that in cold it accelerated only in the morning so I changed the sensor by the advice of the mechanic but I do not solve the problem so I have spent almost 500 dollars in labor and sensors for nothing someone can give me an idea that it takes that screw internally I imagine that it will be an oring Cut the air or regulate it in some way like carburados

Hello Johan45, that screw looks like it is no more than to stop in the butterfly (because it is not seen that it has an internal air step) similar to the carburetor in the adjustment of the butterfly (not the needle screw of the co). To the collector, rajas in the empty tubes or in the brake depressor etc ... theme separately is that when deceleras, (especially if you go strong) until the amount of injection is stabilized, a few moments spend a few moments in which the roll is high and it goes down slowly ... if you look, as you say when you do not do it. The engine accelerates in cold and goes down because the temperature sensor makes the automatic "starter" function and vary the amount of injection according to the engine, so you should regulate it hot.

If thanks for your Ismael observations if you set that they put a smoke machine to see the leaks and nothing was observed with respect to the accelerate and decelerate is only in the morning when it is colder and the rest of the day I did not think about changing the PCV valve because it was dirty and the same I have an oil leakage by the carter I assumed that the PCV valve did not let the air out of the air. What to replace because I had oil leaks everywhere the question that after changing the retainers and stamp pointer I remain thus although of accelerating and decelerating in the morning did it always did it now now I want House that's why I want to eradicate him without putting it not normal but I'm already running out of options for that, I asked for help

Manual-Mecanica response on the subject Hyundai Accent acceleration problems
hello good evening. According to what I have read in the previous conversation and I want to try to understand a bit, there is a idle control problem in normal working temperature conditions. All this before the accelerator top regulation screw vary that only serves as a stop for the TPS sensor and its 0 as the acceleration is transmitted to the automatic box.
I await an answer.
