Hello friends.
I need help or guidance with respect to a problem that I have for a week with the air conditioning of my Ford Edge 2.0 Sel year 2013.
This Ford brings a dual air conditioner, that is, both the driver and the passenger can regulate the temperature of the air conditioning using a button that each one has in the central panel, said button also regulates the desired temperature by turning it to one side or another. The air conditioning on the driver's ignition master is that of the driver, therefore, when there is no companion in the vehicle, the driver from his button regulates the entire air conditioning system (both sectors).
The problem is as follows: I (driver) when lighting the air conditioning at cold temperature +- 19 ° My sector delivers this temperature, however the companion sector is delivering a very high (hot) temperature I think that +- 30 ° even when the screen says that both sectors are regulated at 19 ° this makes the vehicle never have a cold temperature inside. Try repeatedly pressing the air conditioning button of the companion in order to turn it off, but there is no case, try to regulate the temperature by selecting the minimum temperature offered by the system for the companion sector and nothing, the worst is the companion sector automatically turns on together with the driver's sector, I cannot turn it off or regulate or make that sector work.
I also comment that the sector that gives cold air (the driver's) makes it properly frozen, therefore "I don't think" is lack of gas ...
Does anyone know what this behavior can be due? And how can you solve it? Will it be enough to buy a new button? How can I test the system to see what can be failing? ..
Thank you very much for your help.
