Good colleagues. A few weeks ago I bought a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro, with about 97,000 km and complete maintenance recently (according to the role on the side of the steering wheel).

The issue is that yesterday from nowhere the engine overheated, to the point that an alarm rang on the board saying that the engine was very hot and had to stop, luckily there was a service station well close, I parked it and when the engine was turned off the engine was heard to the electric fan. I waited about 30 minutes to load it with a cooling liquid that I had bought from the station, I loaded about 1.5 liters of refrigerant approximately then it already started spilling (I guess because it was full). I started and went to my house (about 9 km approximately) then when I arrived I noticed that it began to heat back, the fan is heard very strong and a pull that does not stop. I went home to park and today I evolved I went to start, I accelerated and turned on the air and after about 8 minutes he began to heat back, this time bubbles were already left in a part of the radiator. I would like to upload photos and videos but I can't find the option

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Camaro 2011, engine is overheat
If there is a leak in the radiator you have to correct it either fixing or changing the radiator, this is to begin to see if the overheating follows, then see the thermostat, leaks of some other place, cooling pump and radiator plug or condensation deposit.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Camaro 2011, engine is overheat
Hello partner.
Well, it seems a failure in the refrigeration circuit.
On the one hand we know that the electrventilator works correctly.

I think possible failures can be.
Water pump
Thermostat.
BOARD OF CURE.
Lack of refrigerant fluid

see if you have mayonnaise in the lubrication circuit in the oil level bar or if the refrigeration circuit limits.

Check if it pulls refrigerant by the water pump.

Check the sleeves and radiator that has not lost.

Check if the refrigerant fluid circulates throughout the circuit.

For any questions you know.

All the best.
