Grand Vitara does not start published by Manual-Mecanica
The car crashed and the Air Bag were activated, the engine operates the start but does not start, my question is whether the SDM or SRS module with the shock failure prevents the engine from starting

Manual-Mecanica response on the Grand Vitara theme does not start
Friend in the Ford Fiesta model there is an impact sensor in the lower part where the driver's low door visagra is screwed in order to disconnect the gasoline pump motor to avoid vehicle fire. This sensor must be reset so that the vehicle can turn on.
Verify if the gasoline pump sounds when you pass the ignition without going to the start. but it sounds that this vehicle may have an impact sensor. If you have the manual verify in it.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Grand Vitara theme does not start
In this case when the car collides the SDM or SRS module that acts the airbag and safety belts, it keeps the crash breakdown stored and that module must be reset, what I ask is whether it is possible to start the engine with that fault because it is not planned

Manual-Mecanica response on the Grand Vitara theme does not start
FRIEND. There is no problem in using the vehicle with this device already deactivated (not operational) only that the signaling of failure in the instrument panel or vehicle board will see during the time that this vehicle is on time since the only way to erase that alarm is to recharge the airbag system and delete failure codes. Your vehicle starts and starts normally because its start-up system has nothing to do with the airbag system. Only they are linked by a couple of cables to the diagnostic connector through a Can network to read and erase the fault DTC, but nothing more
