Hello,
my call Luis, I'm from Navarra. My hobby is to restore vehicles, in all aspects, mechanics, sheet, etc ..... I have a private workshop that I have been doing over time.
I have agreed a Honda CB250 N imported from the United States of 83 The truth is that it is in very good condition.
The motorcycle starts very well but if you give it a little gas, it drowns. If you open gas little by little, it accelerates but I notice that it does not develop the force it has.
I think it is from the carburetors, the previous owner, has never cleaned and carried out their maintenance. I thought they had rubber membranes as those of this type usually have, but, in the exploded, I have seen that they are aluminum bells.
Before revealing the carburetors, I would like some advice on taking into account these carburetors when manipulating.
If anyone knows what to do before disassembling anything, I would appreciate that I gave me any advice.
I have a lot of knowledge in mechanics, hydraulic, electromechanics, etc ... I work as head of maintenance in an aluminum injection company and believe myself, those machines are quite more complex than a vehicle.
Thanks and greetings to all Foros
