Volkswagen Polo Classic 98 ignition problem published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello!
I have a Volkswagen Polo Classic my 98 model, full gasoline.
I have problems with the ignition: when I want to turn on the car or move, it does absolutely nothing. After starting several times, maybe it starts as if nothing had happened. A couple of times when putting it in touch you hear a \ "click-click-click \" that is accelerating. The battery and water vigia lights in the board are lit when putting it in touch but very faint. I have been told that it can be a false contact or the battery already discharged, or the boot donkey or the drum of the key or to the key itself !!!!! I need help !!!

Leandro

PD If someone can get the workshop or repairs, blessed. Thank you

Very good, in principle the noise that \ "clik clik clik \" is the \ "automatic \" of the starter engine, it is the piece that carries a small pine positive terminal that is sure to be a direct cable. All the best

Hello, if you can fix the negative battery cable that is connected in the engine in one of the anchors of the gearbox, it usually makes a bad contact in the anchor terminal due to the temperatures for having been lazy, and the other to rule Turn without using the automatic. In this way the piñon of the BLSE will not be coupled to the crown. But we will ensure that the start turns well. It must be thus prosede to change the automatic. luck.

Hello again it is a short one, give it a few hits in the part of the start of the start. For the coals if spent, go down a little more, these starts of the pole are to spend the coal of the collector a lot. And you must replace them. Of the fields enough. That if you are not going to change the Bendix, luck (Miguel)

hello!
I have 4 poles 2 of them are 98 full gasoline. Your problem is that the donkey is going to mass. I explain you! You have spent bushings! The pole does not spend any coals already blows nothing is fixed. If you release the background and you don't know how to assemble it, take it out and look at it well, you also have little space, little light and it is a wasting time to fight uncomfortable, etc. The donkey of the pole and several new customs are divided into 4 sections: background lid and carbon plate the second: coil and fields. The third: axes and guides. The fourth: automatic, Bendy or gear lever and free coupling with the pinion. As you realize it needs to be well focused on the prediction of the centered the magnetism of the fields attracts the coil and does not move. Tip: Change the bushings you spend at most you spend 12 mangoes on three bushings. (They are not standard measures). They are from the tips of the coil and axis. To release it you have to get 2 Esparragos and ready luck and greetings.
